Dr. D John Benedict is an Assistant Professor at Christ University in the Department of Commerce. He holds degrees including M.Com., B.Ed., M.B.A., PGDCA, and Ph.D. from Pondicherry Central University. He has also cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) and the State Eligibility Test (SET) in commerce. Dr. Benedict has eight years of teaching experience at Loyola College, Chennai, and five years of research experience. He served as the Research Director for an ICSSR Major Research Project on Drug Policies. He has published research papers in Scopus and UGC Care journals. Dr. Benedict has coordinated the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and organized international conferences. His areas of expertise include finance, accounting, business analytics, and tools like Tally Prime and spreadsheets. He has completed several certificate courses, including Bloomberg for Education and CISI. Dr. Benedict has served as a resource person, board examiner, academic audit member, and jury for research paper presentations. He is a lifetime member of the Indian Accounting Association and the Indian Commerce Association.
